Another Elko Happy Tail! With Molly!

It’s always a bit of a mystery what a dog will be like when they first come into rescue from a hoarding situation—which is why we are endlessly grateful for our incredible foster homes. They’re the ones who help these pups learn what love, safety, and belly rubs are all about.

Enter Colleen Maxwell… and Molly, one of our Elko collies—and wow, are we glad these two found each other!

When Molly first arrived, everything was scary… even cats (yes, really!). But with Colleen’s patience, love, and a little help from trainer Ellen, Molly has started to come out of her shell. She’s now interacting and even playing with Colleen’s two dogs—go Molly!

She still thinks her crate is the ultimate cozy hideout, but little by little, her brave and happy personality is shining through.

And now for the best part… Colleen realized life just wouldn’t be the same without Molly.

So we are beyond happy to announce that Molly isn’t going anywhere—she’s officially found her forever home right where she is!
