FOSTER FAMILIES
With the number of abandoned and needy Collies here in Southern California, we're always in need of foster homes. From Santa Barbara to San Deigo we need foster families!
Can you, or someone you know, FOSTER A COLLIE? We need temporary homes for our Collies where they can remain until a permanent placement is made. Southland Collie Rescue pays all medical and grooming expenses while a dog is in foster care.

VOLUNTEER FUNDRAISER OR GRANT WRITER
Southland Collie Rescue is looking for experienced Grant Writers and Fundraisers to help us raise funds to care for the many collies we save. If you have that special talent for writing grants, or raising money through live events or social media please contact us right away!
SOCIAL MEDIA VOLUNTEER
We are looking for a few Social Media wiz's to help us network dogs, share events and get the name of Southland Collie out to the animal lovers of Southern California! If it is you please fill out the form below!
GROOMERS AND TRAINERS
When we get a new collie in it often needs to be groomed right away. We could sure use groomers who can donate their time to help make these new rescues feel like real collies again! And Trainers! So often we have a collie that has lived in an environment that did not teach them some of the most basic dog skills. If you are a Trainer that can donate some of your time to help our collies live happy and healthy emotional and social lives we need you!
SHELTER CHECK VOLUNTEERS
When our team finds out that there is a potential collie to be adopted in one of the SoCal shelters we need a Collie Volunteer to visit the shelter, take pictures and videos then send them to the team! We need Volunteers in all of SoCal to cover the many shelters where these beautiful dogs have ended up.
NEWSLETTER VOLUNTEER
SCR is very proud of our Newsletter which is mailed out three times a year! We need someone who can find appropriate articles on collies that we can share.
TRANSPORTERS
Can you, or someone you know, BECOME A COLLIE RESCUE FRIEND and Transport Collies when needed. Sometimes it is from one of our rescuers hands to a foster home. Sometimes it is transporting between foster homes. All you need is a crate, a car and a smile!
