Searching For Peter’s Person
Today we received the news no one ever wants to hear… our sweet cuddle bug Peter is blind.
His foster mom, Elyse, noticed something wasn’t quite right, and after a visit to the vet, it was confirmed—his pupils don’t respond to light and appear underdeveloped.
And just like that, Peter’s world is different.
But here’s what hasn’t changed—his gentle spirit, his love for cuddles, and the way he leans in, trusting the people around him to be his eyes.
Peter will be seeing an eye specialist, and we will do everything we can for him. He deserves that and so much more.
Now, more than ever, Peter needs someone special. Not just an adopter—but his person. Someone with patience, kindness, and a big heart… someone willing to guide him, teach him, and help him feel safe in a world he can’t see.
Blind dogs don’t know they’re “different”—they just love, trust, and adapt. And Peter is ready to do all of that with the right person by his side.
Have you ever loved or cared for a blind dog? Do you know someone who could open their heart and home to a dog who needs just a little extra guidance—but has so much love to give?
