As we turn the final page of The Stardust Trail, our story comes to its most beautiful ending—and perhaps its most magical beginning.

We are overjoyed to share that Mama Stardust has found her forever home. Not just any home, but one that feels as though it was written in the stars all along. Stardust has been adopted by SCR’s leader of the pack, Mitch Telson, and his wonderful wife, Jeffyne Telson.

Stardust could not have landed in a more loving place. Nestled among the beauty of towering trees and the ever-changing ocean, she now joins the cherished Telson collie family—Pal O'Mine, Serenity, Sterling, and Zephyr. She will also share her days with the many beloved feline souls cared for through ResQCats.

The Telsons are no strangers to the unique gifts and needs of sight- and hearing-impaired collies, having devoted their hearts to the beloved Echo and Whisper. We know Stardust's days ahead will be filled with understanding, compassion, adventure, and love.

While The Stardust Trail may be reaching its final chapter, the story itself is far from over. Every soul from this journey has now found their forever home, and we have no doubt that many joyful adventures await. We look forward to sharing future chapters from the lives of Stardust, Peter Blue, Quest (Willow), Trip (Bear), Soleil, and of course our beloved Journey, Silka, Molly, and Lilly (Fiona).

Some stories end with a period. This one ends with a constellation of happy endings, shining brightly across many homes and hearts.
